This is what she wrote on tiktok: Yes! Let it cool completely before putting it in the fridge. Then when you’re ready to bake, bring to room temp for 30 minutes. Reheat covered at 300°F for 20–30 minutes, or until warmed through. Uncover for the last 5 minutes if you want the top to re-crisp slightly!
So you doubled it but put it in the same sized pan as a single batch? Did it just make it taller? I'm unsure of what the purpose is if it's the same sized pan. Thanks!
The disposable 9x13 pan I used had higher sides so it accommodated the additional amount but was pretty full. A cake pan with shorter sides likely can’t hold a double batch.
THIS RECIPE HAS CHANGED MY LIFE. We have agreed to pass this recipe down for generations and make it at Thanksgiving every year. Browning the butter is critical. Thank you!!!
Hi, I want to make this today! Can the cooked recipe be frozen after it's fully cooked and cooled? I thought if it can, I would freeze it in freezer bags in individual servings. Please advise. Thank you
Yes! Let it cool completely, then wrap it tightly or store it in an airtight container and freeze for up to 2 months. The texture may be slightly softer after reheating, but the flavor holds up really well.
When you’re ready to reheat, let it thaw in the fridge overnight, then bake covered at 325°F for 20–30 minutes, just until warmed through.
Thank you so much for the quick response! I made this yesterday. It was delicious! The only thing was it was very thin. I think, next time I'm going to use a smaller pan?
This is fabulous! Warning, my family insists that I MUST bring this to every holiday now. So now I am the corn pudding lady.
This can be baked beforehand and reheated. I added a full stick of melted butter to the top after reheating, along with a light honey drizzle and Maldon salt. My son put
Next time, I will try to double the recipe in the same pan like other reviewers, as the pan was practically licked clean by nine people.
Made this for Thanksgiving 2025 — it was a HIT! I browned my butter and brushed the top with butter. I also Made a whipped honey butter for people to put on theirs. But 10/10 recipe!

looks delicious! is this to be served at dinner or is it more a dessert?
It’s not dessert at all! It’s kind of in between a side dish and a bread!
This looks delicious!!
My toddler LOVES this!! Could I add some veggies to this without altering anything else? Like grated zucchini?
